Low Cost Offline & Online APCVD for Low-E Glass / Smart Window Production

Low-emissivity (Low-E) glass and smart window are used globally to reduce building energy consumption.

To make Low-E glass, a bottom layer of SiO2 and a top layer of SnO2 with fluoride doping (SnO2:F) or antimony doping (SnO2:Sb) are coated on glass by APCVD. By changing the layer thickness and doping concentration, Low-E glass with different optical transmission and emissivity can be made.

With other coating materials like TiO2 and TiN and different layer structure, smart windows like photo-catalytic glass, electrochromic glass can be made as well.

APCVD is the low cost, high throughput method to make glass coating. At CVD Equipment, we provide offline and online APCVD for special glass production.
