The CVD Application Laboratory is a very cost efficient platform for the demonstration and/or optimization of graphene manufacturing processes without prior capital investments.  We provide access state-of-the-art equipment for prototyping material processes, trial quantity manufacturing capability, access to a team of equipment developers, process engineers, design engineers, and an in-house manufacturing capabilities, and highly proficient team of scientists and engineers.

Our research team provides analysis of graphene and other carbon nanomaterials by Raman Spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy. We perform electrical and optical studies of graphene coatings, the transfer of graphene on various substrates, and perform contract research services on request.

CVDGraphene™ is grown presently on metals only. However, a majority of customer applications require conductive Graphene coatings on an insulating substrate. We have the ability to transfer CVDGraphene™ films onto virtually any substrate by removal of the supporting metal with a chemical etching process, thus making it transportable to virtually any solid and liquid object.  This greatly expands the possible CVDGraphene™ application range. In general, CVDGraphene™ coatings are fully compatible with semiconductor process equipment but essential adaptation a standard set is required.

We offer in-house prototype development or the optimization of a specific process for each customer’s needs.  In addition, we offer access to the manufacturing capacities of CVD equipment such as the high-volume production of CVD graphene, and the deposition of thin films of metal and oxides for the seamless integration of graphene coatings with standard techniques that are well adapted by the semiconductor industry.
